International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition

Now calling for entries for 2009

The Garden Photographer of the Year competition is perfect for anyone who loves flora, nature and photography.

The overall winner for 2008 was Claire Takacs, her photograph shows a snowy scene within Kenrokuen Gardens in Japan. You can see this winning image, along with the winners and finalists photos from all the categories at the outdoor exhibition at Kew Gardens, near the Pavilion Restaurant and Pagoda.


If you are a budding photographer yourself, don't forget to submit your entry for next year's competition. You could enjoy the unique opportunity of seeing your photograph exhibited at Kew next summer, as well as winning fantastic prizes. So be inspired by Kew's landscape and get snapping!
